The typical beautiful old churchyard with adjoining cemetery is the best way to describe this place.

It is located in the NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 25 of Oceola Township.

When the congregation was founded in 1838 it was initially given the name of St. Mary's but was changed in about 1868 to the new name. When I was there filming this cemetery several weeks ago, I noted that the cemetery was very well kept up and these images will be uploaded as soon as possible. I decided to upload all the indexes, faulty as some are, first and then will double check data against photos.

Many local families were involved in the land purchase of this original site.

The DAR came through Livingston County in the 1940's and transcribed many cemeteries, this one included. The three indexes were compiled them into one which can be seen as the beginnings of the new format in form of a table which shows those interred and the cemetery names which are linked to these individual cemetery pages.
