Located in Section 15 of Green Oak township, this is one of the oldest in the county. As a result only a few of the stones have legible etchings. It is located near the intersection of Silver Lake & McCabe roads.
This cemetery was included in the three volume set of transcribed rural cemeteries done by the DAR in the 1940's. Originally there were three indexes and they were combined into one and the index added to other data became what is on the site today with cemetery names added and linked to individual cemetery pages. When I filmed this cemetery several months ago, I noted that several older stones had been replaced with brand new stones of a newer variety. These images will be uploaded this winter, I hope.
