Linda is the director of the Family History Center and has been researching for
approximately 25 years.
Here she is shown helping one of the patrons |
with the microfiche machines to determine which record they are looking for.
Some of the lines she is researching include: GATES, GIBSON, HIBBARD, SAYLES, GOSLEE, PATTON, PHILBURN, SAGE, HALL, BELOTE, WAGNER, DORNER, & MILLER.
Her main areas of interest are in England and right here in Livingston County as her roots go very deep right at home, especially at the Sanford Cemetery where you can see many of her ancestors. She is always more than willing to help anyone who wants to know how to begin their journey down the road to their ancestors. Linda lives in Howell with her husband Jim and two of their six children Jaime & Scott. The family are members of the LDS Church and Linda & Jim are in charge of the building operations which sometimes keeps them hopping. Four of their children are married and have given them twelve grandchildren spread from here to Idaho. Linda was an integral part in the forming of the Family History Center here in Howell, because there were no others within a 30 mile radius. She makes sure that we have one of the finest collections of research materials available to those patrons who come to do research.
