We are privileged at the Howell Family History Center to have a wide assortment of people who serve as librarians. Some have been here since the inception, others are brand new and just learning. Always ask one of us, and I guarantee you that if we do not know the answer we will send you on to someone that we think does know the answer, much to the chagrin of that librarian, many who do not think they are as knowledgeable as we know they are.
All in all though, they are all very willing to try and answer whatever questions you may bring in pursuit of your family genealogy. If none of them knows the answer, they have been known to even search out other resources available to librarians to get an answer for the patrons who come into the facility. We even answered a letter from a gentleman in the southern part of Portugal because he found this site on the net long before there were many FHC sites.
One of the nicest things that we have going with our group of librarians is that the areas we are researching is so diverse....from Lithuania to Ireland, to the mountains in Washington State...if the facts are out there, we WILL find them.
