This cemetery is located in Section 30 of Brighton Township, which is right in downtown Brighton, next to the Mill Pond which is how it got the more common name that is used currently.
The cemetery was transcribed by the DAR in the 1940's and you can review the recent compilation of those indexes into one elsewhere on this site. I have now also added the cemetery names to this index and have then linked them to the individual cemetery pages. This cemetery was included in Volume III of the series.
Recently I filmed this cemetery and those images will be uploaded sometime during the winter of 1999-2000. The Brighton Historical Society has been diligently working with the City of Brighton to restore and refurbish this cemetery so that it will be easier for family members to visit.
