Green Oak Township is located in the lower Southeast corner of Livingston County. Part of the city of Brighton abuts its border, as does a portion of the city of South Lyon which is located in Oakland County, MI. Also considered one of the fastest growing townships in the county, there is a steady stream of new construction going on here. The new township hall is located at 10001 Silver Lake Rd. Brighton MI 48116 just east of U.S. 23.
