This cemetery is located in the western half of Section 17 of Howell Township. Originally laid out in 1850 on the VAN NEST property. There are many of the pioneers of the Howell area buried here.

It is located one half mile from three major roads which connected together and thus was called six corners of FLEMING. I have already filmed this cemetery and sadly many stones were either broken or damaged and thus were impossible to film.

The earliest gravestone appears to be that of a soldier in the war of 1812 Ebenezer DAMON.

This cemetery was transcribed in 1989 by Milton E. CHARBONEAU. 

This cemetery was also included in the transcription of rural cemeteries by the DAR in the 1940's. Originally a three volume work with separate indexes, was combined and that index is accessible from the main page of this site, or you can go to the new table I created that includes both the interred names and the cemetery names which are then linked to individual cemetery pages.
