Deeded in 1878 this cemetery was approximately 475 acres. It was located in the northwest corner of the east half of the southwest quarter of Section 12.

It appears that the people interred there were moved to St. Paul's Episcopal cemetery on the Mill Pond in downtown Brighton somewhere around 1882. I have already filmed the Village Cemetery and if I can ever find records for this particular cemetery I will note it on the image pages.
