NEED MORE
MAPS????
here are a
few....
This should keep you busy for many hours, if not weeks....months, years...<g>
Another map project that I did a few years back that a lot of people seem to enjoy. Currently it is going through the same resizing that I just completed on the 1895 atlas. The 1891 Shipper Gaz has phenomenal RR maps that show all the small towns along the routes of many railroads. It also lists thousands and thousands of dealers that were connected with the various railroads at that time.
Want to see as many maps as you
can possibly use in the next twenty years or so??? <g> This site has over
60,000
maps of various countries, time periods etc. Roelof
Oddens has created a spectacular array of
links to keep you busy for a long, long time. Each time I go there, I see he has
added another 5,000 links! Click here

A friend, Matt Rosenberg at www.About.com has a great geography site
Just got in another neat site with interesting trail maps called Trails West and Indian Land Cessions. Fred Smoot & friends do both of these sites and I have it on great authority that anyone that visits there will find historic data to add to their family background.

PRINTING PROBLEMS....READ THIS FIRST, PLEASE!!!
Before you contact Pam, the project creator about a perceived problem with a map, please read this section and see if it can answer your problem. So far no one except a person with a very old system was unable to make use of the maps by doing what these tips recommend. With over 1000 e-mail a day, it is becoming difficult to keep up. <grin>
Some
people have requested information regarding the printing or viewing (especially users of
AOL) of the maps which I have never done because I have access to the originals. I have
asked these
people to write up their methods and if you need this information, please click here:

"Please keep in mind that I do not know anything about the areas covered on any of the maps I scan in for your benefit, not who lived there or commercial info, so please try searching the net or check out ... http://www.Cyndislist.com"
